Data from Third Parties

Or Creacore may obtain information from other sources and combine that with information Creacore collects through your use of the API and Services. The following information is collected and/or obtained from third parties:
We may disclose the information you have provided to us and information that is automatically collected:
Cookies
Cookies are defined as small text files that are placed on your computer's hard drive by your web browser when you visit any website. They allow data gathered on one web page to be stored until it is needed for later use, allowing a website to provide you with a personalised experience and the website owner with statistics about how you use the website so that it can be improved. Some cookies may last for a defined period of time, such as one day or until you close your browser. Others last indefinitely. Your web browser should allow you to delete any you choose. It also should allow you to prevent or limit their use.
When you first visit the Website, a banner asks which optional cookies and measurement you accept. Nothing optional runs before you choose, refusing is as easy as accepting, and you can change or withdraw your choice at any time via “Cookie settings” at the bottom of every page. Your choice is remembered for six months.
Strictly necessary (always on, no consent required):
-
your language preference (cookie
i18n_redirected); - your login session, when you sign in (authentication cookies and browser storage);
-
your cookie choice itself (browser storage
cbe2json_consent); - payments: when you subscribe, the payment form of our payment provider Stripe sets cookies used for fraud prevention.
Visit counting (no cookie, no consent required):
When your browser loads a page of the Website from outside it — you follow a link or a search result, type the address, or reload the page — the request it sends to our web server includes, as every such request does, the page address (with any campaign tags in the link), the address of the page you came from and your browser's user agent (its name and version). Our server uses these to count the visit: we store only daily totals per landing page and traffic source (the campaign tags, or the name of the referring website). To keep automated traffic such as search engine crawlers, scripts and monitoring tools out of these totals, the server checks technical request headers that every browser sends, and keeps a daily count per user agent of whether it was counted as a visitor, so that we can check the filter. That count is not linked to pages, sources or visits, and is deleted after 30 days. Your IP address is not stored for this, no cookie is set, and nothing is stored on or read from your device. We do this on the basis of our legitimate interest in knowing how many people visit the Website and how they find it.
Page analytics (only with your consent):
- First-party page counting: for each page you view, the Website sends our own servers the page address and the traffic source of your visit (the campaign tags in the link you followed, or the name of the referring website). We store only daily totals per page and source. No cookie is set; the totals contain no IP address, device identifier or other identifier, and these requests are not written to our server logs. The traffic source of your visit is kept in your browser's session storage, deleted when you close the tab, so that the pages of one visit are attributed to the same source and a page reload is not counted as a new visit.
- Sign-up source: if you create an account, the source of the visit that led to it (campaign tags, referring website and landing page) is stored with your account, so that we can learn which channels bring customers.
Proof of consent. When you make a choice, we record it with a random identifier generated in your browser, the version of the banner and the date. This record contains no other information and is kept to be able to demonstrate consent.
The Website does not use Google Analytics or any advertising
cookies. Returning visitors may still carry Google Analytics cookies
(such as _ga) from an earlier version of the Website;
the Website deletes them.
Third-party content. When you view a company in the public search demo, its location is shown on a map from OpenStreetMap and looked up through the OpenStreetMap Nominatim service; your browser then connects to those services, which receive your IP address. No cookies are set by them.
Retention Period for Personal Information
Except as otherwise mentioned in this Privacy Policy, Creacore shall endeavour to keep your Personal Information only for as long as is required (i) for Creacore to be able to provide you with the API and Services, (ii) to comply with the law, including for the period demanded by our tax authorities, and (iii) to support a claim or defence in court.
More specifically, Creacore shall retain all (i) server logs and User Data for twelve (12) months; and (ii) Deliverables for thirty (30) days. Upon the expiry of the twelve (12) months and thirty (30) day retention period, the server logs, User Data and Deliverable(s) will be permanently deleted from Creacore's cache and servers.
Opt-out rights
You can stop all collection of Personal Information by Creacore by not accessing the Website, Subdomain URLs, API and the Services, by unsubscribing from your chosen Subscription Plan (as defined under Section 6 of the Terms) or by requesting to opt-out via email, at contact@cbe2json.be.
Changes and Amendments to Privacy Policy
Creacore may update this Privacy Policy from time to time in Creacore's sole discretion and will notify you of any material changes to the way in which Creacore treats Personal Information. When changes are made, Creacore will revise the updated date at the bottom of this page. Creacore may also provide notice to you in other ways in Creacore's sole discretion, such as through the contact information you have provided. Any updated version of this Privacy Policy will be effective immediately upon the posting of the revised Privacy Policy unless otherwise specified. Your continued use of the Website, Subdomain URLs, API and/or Services after the effective date of the revised Privacy Policy will constitute your consent to those changes. However, Creacore will not, without your consent, use your Personal Information in a manner materially different than what was stated at the time your Personal Information was collected.
Contact Information
Should you have any questions or concerns regarding privacy while using our Website, Subdomain URLs, API and/or Services, please send us a detailed message to contact@cbe2json.be, and Creacore will use its best endeavours to resolve your concerns.
Effective Date of Privacy Policy: December 21, 2020.
